The SysMO-DB project has developed a suite of tools and infrastructure to support the exchange and management of Systems Biology data and models. The main components enable:
- Sharing of assets and knowledge across consortia in SysMO SEEK
- Sharing and publication of data files in SysMO-JERM
- Simulation, curation and publication of models in JWS Online
- Searching and sharing of reaction kinetic data in SABIO-RK
- Sharing and development of scientific workflows in myExperiment and Taverna
In addition, we are developing tools to help with data curation and standardisation. For example, the Spreadsheet Ontology Annotation tool (the SysMO curator) enables researchers to develop templates for experimental data and results so that data is annotated with terms from appropriate ontologies and controlled vocabularies consistently accross the consortium.
